PT. Jasa Karya, a contractor of PT. Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (PT. RAPP), a subsidiary of APRIL in Riau, is logging in natural forest of Pulau Padang (Kuantan Singingi District) in the vicinity of Rimbang Baling Wildlife Reserve. The timber from this logging operation is supplied to APRIL pulp mill. Eyes on the Forest Investigation in July 2005 also found timber transportation document to go along with truck No. BM 6492 AS, serial No. 09-107. Below are the information found on the document.
